On August 15th, 2012 I will kick off the start of this website in which I will try to keep a promise I made to my precious little girl in Heaven. I hope all who will can read my story and help children like Katie and help a loving father keep a promise. Thank you all ......

    Dear Bud,
I will be posting your's and Katie's story on my Facebook account so that all I know will read about your awe-inspiring, brave, generous little girl. I am a disabled RN and you make me proud to have been a part of the noble profession of nursing. I personally know Michael Shoemaker and cannot say what a wonderful, generous, feeling, unselfish indiividual he is. Also, my Sister Nina Kruse and her husband R. Kim Shultz were the composers of "Katie's Song". They have been willing, selfless contributors to many causes especially ones that are concerned with children. I am proud to call them my family. I wish you much success in writing the book that you have in your heart about Katie and also success in fulfilling the promise you made her so many years ago. May God's love protect you and your family and give you the strength to fulfill the dreams you have concerning your Angel Katie. If there is ever anything I could do to help you in your endeavors please feel free to contact me. With Much Love, Margarita

DEAR BUD, My son told me about Katie's website and what you are doing. I have been praying for you both. Katie was a very dear sweet girl and lucky to have a dad like you. Bud you are a very special person in my life and always will be. The first time I met you you were so nice to me and made me feel welcomed. If we had more dad's like you the world would be even more awesome. Stay strong and keep it up for little Katie. May God bless you and your family. If there is anything I can do for you just let me know. I am here for you and Katie. God Bless, SHARON SHOEMAKER

    Hello!
I often think about your sweet daughter. I went to school with her, in elementary and middle. She was always my friend, never a harsh word, and always smiling! I have never and will never forget my friend Katie! We clicked almost automatically, I mean we shared the same name! I miss her still, all these years later. She will never be forgotten by me. Though we were young, I will always remember her!! Thank you for sharing her in her time on this Earth. Can't wait to see her again!! :)
